About Me

Hi, I’m Megan, and I believe travel doesn’t have to be expensive—you just need the right strategy.

As the acting Household Strategist & CFO (AKA stay-at-home parent) in a one-income household, I thrive in the chaos of managing our budget while making travel dreams come true and avoiding overspending.

For years, I hunted for the best deals, packed my own snacks to avoid pricey meals, and booked the cheapest flights I could find—because that was the only way I thought I could make travel happen.

But when I discovered points and miles, everything changed. What started as a way to save money became a powerful tool to unlock experiences I never thought possible. That’s why I started Journey Currencies—to share what I’ve learned and help others experience the world in ways they might not have thought possible.

If you’ve ever felt like travel is out of reach or that rewards programs are only for big spenders, I’m here to show you otherwise. You don’t need a luxury lifestyle to make this work, just the right approach.

Let’s work together to make your next trip a reality—without spending big bucks!
